Backflow Preventers are required to be tested on an annual basis. This test is required pursuant to the New York State Cross Connection Control Program 5-1.31(a)(3). Testing of a backflow device must be performed by a state certified tester.
Backflow device repairs require shutting off the water. We make repairs off hours and weekends if needed. Even though the EPA does not mention specifically that replacement/repair parts need to be lead-free it's important to check requirements.
